and instead of a manicure, we went to ktv (karaoke). it's insane how crazy asians are about karaoke. freaking tall building with various-sized rooms on all floors. and the food is really good and served buffet style. some were free and others had to be redeemed with these tickets that accompanied a room rental. we weren't prepared for the big selection immediately following our seafood feast...
english song selection was extremely limited, but we still got by. some songs we sang: nobody wants to be lonely, burn by usher, semi-charmed life, and every britney spears and backstreet boys song we could find. we were super shy at first so kept on making beer runs but by the end we just dgafed.
tonight we want to go out since it's chinese valentines day. we're thinking that there must be some exciting events/nightlife taking place tonight (people from taiwan are hopeless romantics to the extreme). however, kiiiinda burnt out from straining my voice all day trying to hit those high notes (damn you, mariah). well whatever, gonna finish shopping on urbanoutfitters.com (i have a problem) and then throw a little black dress on for a club or something. or we might just go to a nightmarket... shopping again i suppose (my problem is serious). payce
